To help your child transition smoothly into school life, we invite you to arrange three or four morning visits to our New Entrant class before they turn five. Please contact the Te Pahū School Office (ph. 07 8259849) at least two weeks in advance to schedule these visits.

Visits typically take place from 9:00 am – 11 am, and you are welcome to stay for morning tea.  Parents/caregivers are required to stay during these sessions. These visits help children become familiar with their new school environment, make new friends, and prepare for a confident and happy start to school.

Our preferred visit days are Tuesday and Thursday mornings, but alternative arrangements can be made through the School Office in consultation with the New Entrant teacher.

On your child’s first visit, please bring their Birth Certificate and Immunisation Records to the School Office for enrolment. Stationery lists are available on our website.

During these visits, you are also welcome to schedule a meeting with our Principal, Louise Handley
